This video game scholarship is in his memory and is designed for those students who are planning on obtaining either a computer science or video game design degree. The Randy Pausch scholarship is worth about $2500 and can be applied for anytime during the year.

ESA FOUNDATION COMPUTER AND VIDEO GAME SCHOLARSHIP
It’s a known fact that the majority of people in the video game design industry are men, but women are starting to take more and more jobs in the once men-dominated field. The ESA foundation is committed to helping women and minorities break into career fields where they were once barred or shunned from. This particular scholarship is worth $3000 and can be obtained by any woman or minority who is planning on attending a video game design school.

EMAGINATION GAME DESIGN COMPUTER CAMP
This isn’t a traditional scholarship. In fact, this camp is designed for high school students who are interested in video game design. The University of Southern California sponsors it and they also host the Interactive Entertainment Summer Camp Scholarship, which is for women and minorities only. This camp is designed to give you experience in the realm of video game design and lets you gauge your interest in the career of video game design.

Digital Animation and Game Design Student Scholarship

The Digital Animation and Game Design Student Scholarship is available to students majoring in digital animation and game design at Ferris State University. Deadlines vary, so you would have to contact the financial aids office. It is available to college freshmen to college seniors. Scholarship awards also will vary. You must submit an application and your resume, along with a one page essay. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required to be eligible.

In addition to the scholarships listed above, there are also special scholarships that are only offered by the universities and schools themselves.
