University Entrance Scholarships for Incoming Students
Almost all colleges and universities offer some type of university entrance scholarships which go unnoticed by many first time incoming students and may go unclaimed by them. These admission scholarships are specifically offered to incoming students. Many college and university websites offer information about their specific incoming scholarships or awards they offer. Such beginning scholarships are typically offered to the best incoming students based on academic achievement or performance. Many such awards may be based on department nomination. As a result, entrance scholarships can be highly competitive. In some instances you may need to apply to the intended college or university department. While an entrance scholarship for students may be offered by colleges and universities throughout the United States as well as elsewhere in the world, schools in Canada are often best known for offering entrance college scholarships.
University Entrance Scholarships from All Over
Georgian College offers several types of entrance college scholarships. The Co-op Entrance Scholarships is offered for any field of study and has an award value of $1,000. The scholarship deadline is September 15th.

Don’t Let Entrance College Scholarships go Unclaimed
Do not let entrance scholarships become unclaimed college scholarships. Find what they are from the FinAids office of the college you will be attending and apply to them. Sometimes you are automatically evaluated for them at the time you submit your college application, while other colleges require you to fill out a seperate entrance scholarship application. It’s up to you to inquire and make sure you throw your hat in the incoming scholarship ring and apply.
