Rich Vogler Scholarship is Little Known
Check out the Rich Vogler Scholarship as it is one of the little known scholarships that few people know about and therefore apply for. This obscure scholarship was established in 1990 in memory of Vogler. He is well-known for his role in NASCAR which extended just over 30 years before he died in an accident. His family set up the untold scholarship in his memory.
There are numerous awards given each year in the amount of $1,000 to recipients that show an interest in racing in any capacity. The funds can be used for schooling, books, special education, and more. This hidden scholarship is open to any student that is a USA citizen. The number of recipients annually varies based on the funds available. Applications are accepted from December 15th through February 15th of the following year. SNAG Scholarships are Little Known
The SNAG Scholarship stands for the Society of North American Goldsmiths. This anonymous scholarship is designed to offer financial support to those interested in pursuing an education in either the metal industry or the jewelry industry. There are four SNAG scholarships that are awarded annually.
The Hoover & Strong scholarship is $3,000 and it is awarded to a graduate student in the area of creating production jewelry. There are three undergraduate scholarships in the amounts of $2,000, $1,500, and $1,000. Students must be enrolled in a jewelry and metals curriculum at a trade school, college, or university that is accredited.
Applications are taken from November 10th through January 30th for the SNAG & Hoover & Strong scholarship. Applicants must have jewelry that they created on their own that they can share through photos. The final applicants will be asked to present those items in person for further evaluation. Items are judged based on creativity, quality, and craftsmanship. This is a great chance to show others want you can do. The incognito scholarship is one that doesn’t depend on just how you look on paper with your GPA, which is refreshing to some.
These little known scholarships are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of all of them that are offered. It is in your own best interest to take some time to look high and low for them. Pay attention to the eligibility criteria, the application deadline, and other details. By going this route you can have the funds you need for college and that is going to help you relax. Hello, I am Emily Lipka, a high school senior from Baltimore, Maryland. I currently attend an arts high school for vocal music, and have been accepted to the college of my dreams. Recently I was notified that I will be joining the University of Pennsylvania class of 2016 for mathematics. Penn is a member of the Ivy League, and I am beyond thrilled to have the privilege to attend. I have worked tirelessly throughout my high school career with internships, leadership positions, community service, and, of course, studying to attain high standardized test scores and an impressive resume and transcript. One problem, however, is that I will need to take a rather hefty amount of money out in personal loans. While my parents have taken on a large burden of the money, I still have around half of the nearly $60,000 annual tuition in my hands. Recently, my dad had to go on unemployment, and everyone knows the economy isn’t in the best standing. I am currently job searching and am willing to take out loans, but am extremely interested on seeing if there are any scholarship opportunities with which you can assist me. Any type of feedback would be greatly appreciated.

read more at high school scholarships for seniors which may help you. It seems you’ve made your choice already regardless that it is costly. You may have been given student financial aid at some other school if you had taken the time to look since you appear to be well qualified. When students are committed to a school like you seem to be then I can only advise you to talk with the FinAids office at the University of Pennsylvania to see if they have any need based student aid for you. If not then there are student loans with no cosigners needed which you can apply for.
To Emily and others searching for school dollars:
I have spoken to many potential employers and have been one myself. Find the cheapest school you can find to get your degree. A great college experience is what you make of it and potential employers don’t care where you went to school, just that you got the degree. If they care at all it will be to dscuss sports with you. Why put yourself and your family in debt you may never repay. Grow up, put the imagined benefit of Penn State away. Go there for your post graduate work when you can be workihng part time and pay for it yourself. Save your family alot of grief/expense. Good luck, step up and make the RIGHT decision.
