For many years, the One of a Kind Dr Pepper Scholarshipshas awarded millions of dollars in tuition assistance to students from around the country. The goal of their pop scholarships is to help students in making an impact of their own. Through an understanding that school is a full-time commitment, Dr Pepper hopes to help defray the rising costs of education that can often prevent students from achieving their educational and career goals.
Criteria for Dr Pepper Scholarships
By simply creating and submitting a video explaining how a student hopes to make an impact in the world or their own community, students have an opportunity to win a pop scholarship through the Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway. Entrants in the contest have a chance to win $2,500 or a trip where they can compete for a $100,000 scholarship at a College Football Championship Game. It is hoped that through these tuition prizes, students will be able to focus more on their education and less on how they will pay for it.
To enter the contest, students are required to submit an original video that explains why they believe they deserve tuition. Students may choose to upload their original videos on the program’s website or Facebook page.

According to the U.S. Patent Office, Dr Pepper was first served on December 1, 1885, beating Coca-Cola by a single year. It was introduced nationally as a new kind of soda pop containing 24 different flavors during the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Dr Pepper was originally formulated by a Waco pharmacist in his drug store. Once local residents learned of the new soda fountain drink, they quickly began ordering what was known as a Waco. Today, Dr Pepper has grown into a national favorite and is committed to helping students develop their dreams through the Dr Pepper scholarship program. Don’t let these become unclaimed scholarships– apply to them!
