Lowe’s scholarships are another great way to pay for the cost of attending college. There are multiple scholarship winners each year. Lowe’s offers numerous types of easy scholarships for college students who are beginning their junior or senior year of college. Students must major in a mathematics related area of study. This may include statistics or finance. Applications must be submitted by November 3rd. Lowe’s begins accepting applications starting in June.

Another program Lowe’s offers annually to the tune ofapproximately $600,000 in scholarship funding is directed towards high school seniors. Scholarships are also offered on the community level, making a student’s chances of receiving a scholarship through Lowe’s quite good. Each year, 140 Lowe’s scholarships are awarded to high school seniors with plans to enroll in an undergraduate study course at an accredited college on a full-time basis. Students are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.25 as well as be able to demonstrate community involvement, leadership and work experience. The Carl Buchanan Lowe’s scholarship is worth $5,000 per award. These easy scholarships are given to 50 seniors in high school who will be attending an undergrad program at an accredited college. This scholarship is available to full-time or part-time employees of Lowe’s or dependents of Lowe’s employees.

Xerox also offers a number of potentialy easy college scholarships. Their minority scholarship program provides between $1,000 and $10,000 scholarship awards to a varying number of students annually who have plans to major in a technical field. During the 2010-2011 academic school year, more than 60 students received one of these Xerox scholarships. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, must be working toward an undergrad degree in an acceptable field and must be an ethnic minority. The deadline for this easy scholarship program is September 30th.

Winners of the scholarship can receive up to $5,000. Applicants should demonstrate a history of working in their community. Along with demonstrating community service and involvement, other criteria to be considered include extracurricular activities, future potential and work experience. These thinkable easy scholarships are available to students who are at least 16 years of age and who are or who will be attending a college, university or licensed trade and vocational school.
