it just takes a phone call to ask them. Student aid can change from week to week in colleges so stay vigilant in calling them. I would personally make an appointment with the FINAID manager and talk to him about all your options. This seems to work the best based on all the feedback I get. Government student loans without cosigners are a good last resort.

The government bursaries are easier to apply to and obtain. Your college can assist you with this if you ask them (FinAids office).
